Creative lighting concept by Wonsik Chae imitates the form of a tea bag.
Tea cup filled with a chemical intermediate and a bag containing fluorescent molecules, the light works through a catalyst of this chemical reaction.

Isn’t it beautiful?! And it looks like a very affordable and viable lighting solution.

Very creative concept, that could be used in some interesting ways. Curious how long this light would stay bright

Too bad that doesn’t work with straight water. Watching the liquid drip into the cup and swirl is really neat.

@gary: lol, I love wordplays :D great ;)
it is definitely not healthy, but art is often not useful :D
chemiluminescence is a really great thing to play around with, but I think it is no serious way of lighting your rooms ^^
