As cool as this sculpture is, materials-wise, couldn’t they find a less obtrusive place to put it? In front of that architecture, it’s an eye-sore.

Actually, it’s location, in front of the house, couldn’t be more appropriate, given what Goodwood is famous for – it’s the spiritual home of motor racing.
I love it.

Yea — this is a yearly thing. Look up other Goodwood sculptures. Some are pretty cool — this one, IMHO, uglifies the front end of the E-Type. That car itself is a better sculpture.

The structure’s not very impressive. I think the car does it some good!

I think this is very ugly. Props for designing it and creating it, but not attractive to me.

I think it’s a great sculpture, it reminds me of those old art deco postcards of the Flying Scotsman and other trains, but I think the car shouldn’t be on it’s nose. I’m sure it’s great to look at when you’re there, but the great thing about the e-type was that it looked like it was moving even when it was still. You lose that by having the sculpture vertical. And being put in front of the building like that really signifies just how far Jaguar has come.
