I agree. I can see how they’d appeal to techy types and design geeks, but they’re not terribly innovative.

…”earring that finally allow you to have a zipper on your ear.”
Finally ?
I wasn’t aware people had been waiting for this momentous event.
I see the “Geek Chic” appeal of some of them.
Some are just plain dumb, and what is with the Bacon ?
Sheesh, bacon wallets, bacon earrings bacon everything.
It’s no longer “Creative” or “Innovative” or “Clever”.
Enough with the Bacon Toxel.

Zippers are new? I had a pair in the 80’s, they went with my zipper necklace.

I also had a pair of zipper earrings in the 80s. I thought they were cool then. When I was like, 12. The “innovative” factor in this post is lacking.

those are pretty cool.
as far as them hurting your ears, it would just be like gauging your ears.
i have 5/8th inch ears and it really only hurts when your tring to go up more than once size at once (which is dumb by the way).

LOVE the Pacman ghost earrings, the powerbook buttons, and the zippers… but those modified iPod earphones are just weird looking. Especially if you wear them while listening to your iPod!
