Ok… So, I’m a classically trained artist and am completely open to any and all forms of art.
But, seriously… WTF!!! :)
I have to wonder what inspired the artist to use bread as a medium.

i kinda like the thought of making something unusual like this, however, does this bread not rot? i don’t like the thought of creating something that is going to rot and go bad.

great example of the disgustingly profligant and wasteful western world we inhabit. we have so much food piled up in vast grain mountains we can afford waste it like this. i’m not advocating sending these slices of bead to africa to feed the starving children, but a little humility wouldn’t go amiss. maybe that’s the point but it doesn’t look like it.
anyway, it’s just pictures on bread, nothing special.

“Why bread as medium?” – Why NOT?
And for people who are seriously worried about waste, they should check out the warehouses where food is kept before being sold. In Brazil, for example, there is so much hunger and still the government keeps food in unproper warehouses which makes the food to be rotten in days. TONS of food, not some slices of bread. Please, let`s save the drama and worry about what really matters.
