A little too abstract for me. Sorry. If I have to explain what a stack of Legos represent on my desk, it’s not for me.

Wow! The idea that something so simple can be recognized in an instant is astounding (in that it’s so well ingrained in popular media and that that the image is very well brought out in these lego constructs).

Comon!
This advertising campaign was a blatant ripoff of a very famous group of internet “pixel” art. It was exposed, and talked about ad nauseam, for weeks (about 3 weeks ago).
This is also a perfect example of an internet technique called “SCAM”, where agencies do fake campaigns for clients they don’t actually have, in order to enter the work into award shows and further their own careers.
And you just fell for it.
I love this site, and usually your choices are genius. But please don’t perpetuate intellectual and artistic theft.
Why don’t you show the original art instead? I’m sure the artists would appreciate it.

@Comon!
Who exactly is the group you’re talking about? Please provide some links, I’m intrigued…

To point out just a few.
All done years before this “brilliant” fictitious advertising campaign for a client this agency doesn’t actually have.
The agency, Jung Von Matt, is known for doing this technique. They have been busted many, many times for stealing art, and slapping a logo on it, and trying to pass it off as their own. All in the name of internet “fame” and desperately trying to win advertising awards.
Absolutely reprehensible.
