Series of beautiful paper trees made by Japanese artist Yuken Teruya out of recycled toilet paper rolls.
There comes a moment when cut-out branches and leaves start holding themselves up with their own strength. It is as if the artist gives paper a brand new life inside the toilet paper roll forest.

This is creative for sure, and a great way to re-use material. The shadow that it creates certainly makes it 10 times better.

im always inspired by western art- it remains so genuine yet so very creative. i’m still dazzled by the delicacy of the branches though- i can’t replicate it

@ peppy and zoolo
you’re right. It has to be a same size dowel and a very sharp exacto blade knife.
